Patricia Murphy was a visual artist whose paintings and textiles are known for their vivid and glowing colour. Her work was influenced by her response to the nature of energy as seen through light, weather and elemental things.

Exhibited internationally, Patricia completed many commissions in Ireland and abroad.

Patricia worked with Ceadogán for a number of years. Her paintings translate particularly well to this medium. Many of the colours are unique to Patricia and have been dyed especially for her work. She worked with Ceadogán on two collections as well as many one-off pieces.

Very sadly, Patricia passed away on July 31st, 2018.
