Andrew Ludick is an American ceramicist who is based in Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny. He has established a reputation for his hand-built and brightly painted clay pieces. Andrew works instinctively to create very distinctive pattern and decoration.

His main influences are the arts and designs from the indigenous cultures of Africa and The Americas as well as works by artists such as Paul Klee, Joan Miro, Thelonious Monk and Eric Dolphy.

Two new designs “terarium” and “Carioca” were added to this collection in 2021. Andrew has also designed dinnerware ranges for the American Interiors shop Anthropologie as well as for Crate and Barrell.
