Its been a little over four years since we’ve taken part in Showcase in the RDS.

We are really looking forward to the bustle and to seeing and meeting all the exhibitors and visitors. It promises to be a great show, and we are very excited to be bringing our new offerings tufted from our very own Galway/alpaca yarns.

These rugs are hand-tufted using our alpaca yarns spun from our very own fibre herd. We also have made a superb mixed yarn using fleece from the native Galway sheep and alpaca fleece.

We had this custom spun to our specifications last year. We were hoping to come up with an “Irish merino”….. and are very happy with the results! The alpaca fibre brings a softness to the strength and character of the Galway making it very well suited to our needs.

The four rugs and wall hangings which we will be showing at Showcase this year are:

“Two Rivers” – unique wall hanging
“Bannow Estuary” – Unique wall hanging “KS52” – Limited scalable edition of 5
“Written in Stone” – Limited scalable edition of 5

All of these are made using only natural materials and adhesives. And there’s something else very new which we will also be bringing.

Drawing the luxurious comfort of these yarns further and deeper into your living space, our new cushions combine all the goodness of natural undyed materials with elegance style and taste.

Covers are hand stitched here in our workshop with Irish linen and are faced with hand-tufted undyed and unbleached Galway/alpaca yarn for comfort and extra softness..
They are stuffed with natural wool filling.

Its unique, its new, its very exciting, its the fruit of a long and hard years work in 2023. Come down to Shelbourne Hall in the RDS stand 58A and let us share our passion.The show will run from the 21st to the 23rd of January.
