Just one week to go to the wexford festival Opera 2024 and we are busy preparing for our annual pop up shop.

We have lots of exciting offerings for this years festival and we will be getting all details out to you over the coming days.

We will be located next to Kellys on the Corner on South main street for the duration so do come and see us – right next door to the food yard.

Since 2008 Ceadogán Rugmakers have been the exclusive makers of Mainie Jellett’s editioned rugs.

We are bringing some of our beautiful Jellett collection to show this year. It’s a collection that has featured at the opera festival on a few occasions since its launch when many of the beautiful designs hung on the walls of the national Opera house.

They have been in steady demand since then and are continuously admired.
Each design was made in limited editions of ten with a number of those editioned designs having sold out now.

The final edition of the circular rug, design no.12, which featured in the Richard Malone exhibition at Eileen Gray’s E1027, is now in the collection of the national Museum of Ireland at Collin’s Barracks.

They have found their way onto the the walls and floors of embassies hotels and private collections all around the world.

We are introducing three designs which were brought from the artists gouache designs to final stage back in 2008 in collaboration with the late Bruce Arnold but were not added to the original collection.

They are, as you would expect. visually striking and we are very excited to be bringing them to show for their first time.
